Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion for strength and lightweight rigidity, our free float hand guards will provide you with a lifetime of service.  Unlike many manufacturers who simply cut holes and slots in their extrusion, every surface of these handguards is machined to exacting specifications to ensure a uniform and flat surface.  The 4140 steel barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance, and installs with a standard castle nut wrench.  No custom made tooling required.  As always - this handguard offers our Lifetime Guarantee!
