Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion for strength and lightweight rigidity, our free float hand guards will provide you with a lifetime of service.  Every surface of these handguards is machined to exacting specifications to ensure a uniform and flat surface.  The 6061-T6 aluminum barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance and installs easily with a 1-3/16" open ended wrench or crow-foot attachment.  No custom made tooling required.
